Enhanced Financials DataMart released October 24th
 Effective Monday, October 24th, 2005, the Financials DataMart has been enhanced to include the addition of Budget and Encumbrance data. In addition to the Actuals data that DataMart has always reported, you are now able to view budget and encumbrance transactions, as well as obtain disbursement data from the legacy FLAIR system.
Also effective Monday, the Office of Research and Commercialization has updated its web portal http://www.research.ucf.edu to reflect the changes on DataMart, including the report of encumbrances for all funded research projects and drill down functionality to track requisitions, purchase orders, and vouchers.
Financials Support Services has provided a number of sources for information on how to use the enhanced DataMart and interpret results. You may:
1. Access the enhanced DataMart User Guide at http://www.financials.ucf.edu/helpful_resources/DMartDoc.pdf
2. Check the Ask Addy Knowledge Base. Just click the Find Answers tab and enter DataMart in the Search Text field.
3. See the new Addy Notes at http://www.financials.ucf.edu/Addy_Notes/Addy_Notes.htm. Click the Reporting link and look for the word New in red indicating the notes for the enhanced DataMart.
4. Contact the Financials Help Desk at 407-823-5117 (option 6). A Help Desk representative will walk you through the changes and benefits provided by the enhancements to DataMart.
5. Access the DataMart itself and use its enhanced Help buttons, from which you can summon assistance about the particular page you are working on.
