FSS Team Members Participate at the Alliance PAG/TAG Summit
Every year, just before the Higher Education User Group (HEUG) Alliance conference, various Product Advisory Groups (PAGs) and the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) convene for a two-day summit to discuss issues pertaining to the functional and technical aspects of Oracle PeopleSoft and eBusiness application software. Throughout the event, PAG members have the unique opportunity to collaborate face-to-face with key Oracle Product Strategists. The insights provided during these collaborations directly influence the future direction of Oracle PeopleSoft applications for the benefit of Higher Education customers.
During the summit, members are appointed to various positions within each of the 15 PAGs and the TAG. We are very proud to announce that the following FSS team members have accepted PAG/TAG positions and responsibilities for 2007-8:
- Varsha Das, UCF’s Technical Lead for UCF’s Financials application, will be serving as the Vice Chair for the General Ledger (GL) Advisory Group. In this role, Varsha will back up the GL Chair throughout the year, and is positioned to serve as Chairman next year.
- Kristal Jackson, UCF’s Technical Lead for UCF’s Financials application, was chosen to lead a team of TAG members in writing a white paper on Fusion Developer Training.
- Dorann Mullins, UCF’s Functional Lead for the Purchasing module in UCF Financials, will be serving as Representative for the Functional Architecture Working Group in addition to serving as Representative and Communications Officer for the Combined Financials Advisory Group.
