UCF Financials’ ERP System Featured in Campus Technology Magazine
The July 2007 issue of Campus Technology Magazine contains an article on UCF’s proactive approach to enterprise resource planning (ERP). Joseph Panettieri’s article, “Stay on the ERP Treadmill!,” highlights UCF’s success with ERP. As the article points out, much of this success comes from the strength and management experience of those in leadership positions at UCF, and from the expertise and strong credentials of the team members who support the university’s ERP systems.
Rather than postponing system upgrades, UCF prioritizes them and implements the ones that will deliver the most value to the university. The article discusses UCF’s upcoming financials system upgrades, including a new eProcurement system, scheduled to be implemented in October. In addition, UCF plans to implement vendor self-registration and expense modules. Together, these additions will further enhance the efficiency of UCF’s financials system.
