Standard Budget Ledger Tools and Reports Now Available
Academic Affairs along with Finance and Accounting are pleased to announce the implementation of the Standard Budget Ledger (SBL) in UCF Financials, effective today, April 6th, 2015.
The Standard Budget Ledger introduces new budgeting tools and reports that will help UCF standardize budgeting across the university's academic and business units, and promises enhanced data accessibility, transparency, and consistent reporting to support improved budget priority setting and management.
SBL instructor-led training workshops have already begun and will soon be available for all UCF Financials users. An online training course covering much of the same material as the instructor-led version is soon scheduled for release. All training offerings and opportunities will be communicated on the Financials Support Services (FSS) webpage. A Budget Focus Group has been chartered to focus solely on evolving UCF's budgeting model and developing the best practices. Meeting dates and times for this group will be communicated shortly.
