Training

One goal for UCF Financials training is to conveniently enable each University employee to participate in training appropriate to their roles. To accommodate that need, Financials Support Services has developed a comprehensive program including both WebCT courses and instructor-led training classes. WebCT courses have been available since April 2003 for a broad group of employees who perform such tasks as viewing budgets, preparing requisitions, and checking the status of purchase orders. For those who use the system more intensively, instructor-led training became available in May 2003, and several instructor-led classes continue to be offered on a quarterly basis. For some roles in UCF Financials, WebCT courses are prerequisites for the instructor-led training. Financials training is required before a password can be issued for the system.

Additional course offerings, in both WebCT and instructor-led varieties, will be developed as necessitated by future upgrades and additions to the UCF Financials system.
